I haven’t been to Carnegie Hall since before the pandemic, but for many years I was a patron and back then I would go to a dozen concerts a year. Last night I returned, with my mom, for the first time in years… to see the Lviv National Orchestra of Ukraine 🇺🇦 performing Stankovych, Brahms and Dvorak.

I was shocked there was a video message for the Carnegie audience, direct from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Also, His Excellency the US Ambassador from Ukraine was seated opposite me in the first tier. The music was beautiful, the sense of support was transcendental. I wish peace for their nation.
