I don’t always carry around chunks of precious metals, but when I do, I prefer it to be at least a thousand ounces of pure silver.
This is 64 pounds of silver, one of thousands of ingots retrieved from a shipwreck on the ocean floor by renowned treasure hunter Brad Baker, who was kind enough to let me “borrow” his. At the time of this photo, the value of the silver was around $14,000, but the ingot in this form is actually worth much more as an historical artifact.
